Apparently, you'll get a ticket for driving 10 miles above the speed limit.
And freeways will turn into streets through podunk towns, undergoing construction, thereby further limiting your driving speed.
Oh, and it's a huge frickin state.
But...got internet access again. :) Don't know why since only Ann cares, and I can just email her from a cafe. The rest of you suck.

Yeah...I officially don't suck on at least one count. :-)
Sorry about the ticket...are you on I-10 yet? They are kind of notorious in each state for stopping out of state cars because it's a major drug route (like I-75).
And the rain? Probably only get worse the closer you get to Louisiana...
Yes, I am sad about the ticket. Just gotta work harder to watch out for the "bears". ;)
We are now on 1-10. We caught up with it leaving Texas and we'll ride it into Georgia until we hit Atlanta. Yeah, they stopped us cuz they are assholes. Ugh.
The rain was horrible! Just gross. Cars were stopped over and ppl were driving with their warning lights on. The rain was SOO bad that my windshield somehow (who the FUCK knows) got scratched/cracked. Let's not talk about it, I will only get sadder.
Good luck with your thesis, I know you'll rock! We definitely have to get together in NYC, I'm gonna see Sonja tomorrow :). Thanks for writing, you don't suck :)
