Back to Work

How unexciting is that?

Let's talk about flaky people who don't do their work, let alone show up to work, thereby leaving the responsibility of carrying out their duties on thier coworkers. In a small office of 11 people, one would think that this wouldn't happen that often. But, indeed, it does. Back to work, bleh bleh. But the good thing is the long weekend. This is a pitiful blog entry. I'll just leave it at that.

A Beautiful Day

Today I had a wonderful day. The weather was beautiful and despite a massive recuperation that was necessary from last night's antics, I felt really good all day. I did more work on Lena and Liz's websites, we are about to revamp Liz's website a little, so that is exciting. I hope to update mine a little, but I always put myself to the backburner. Not today, though. Today I:

1 - Woke up at 6am and went to the gym even though I felt like crap. Carlos was nice to me, though.

2 - Came back and had a great conversation about life and love.

3 - Washed my clothes! It's like going shopping. Washed my sheets, it's like...having clean sheets!

4 - Took catnaps while washing clothes.

5 - Fixed the technological bugs out of (some of) my electronics. Which means : upgraded cell phone so more minutes, hopefully this means lower bill and now my text mgs work (dum dum duuuuuum - watch out Santi)...Got a new boombox (does anyone use that term anymore) that plays burned CDs so I can bump my new stuff (sorry Colleen).

6 - Got my nails did - a french mani, sexy.

7 - Went to TJs and got food, YUM! Cheese tortellini for dinner, bagel for breakfast, snack bars, bananas and salads. I also got some more food to make dinner. Take THAT!

8 - Posted to my blog!

Was it a productive day? I think so. How was yours?

Yay for Long Weekends

I'm now in Redlands, hanging out with friends and being lazy and unhealthy. We just played Clue and I lost, but I kick ass at Monopoly so I'm not too worried. I am addicted to the internet, and so my friends are making fun on me, but the reality is that with wireless...shouldn't we always be connected? Hit me up, people.

Spending time in the Yay

This past weekend I went to the Bay area for the first time. It was lots of fun. I stayed in San Jose with Mia and we explored San Francisco - the Haight area, the downtown area, and the San Jose area. We went to this delicious Sengalese dinner on Saturday. On Friday night when I got there, we went to see Keisha Cole at The Sound Factory. I was excited because she can sing, and she can sing about some real things. But she just has to stay off that crack when performing. She was looking a hot mess, blond strangly weave, and definitely drunk as hell. But, she threw down and even bought a girl on stage. On Sunday we explored San Jose and had brunch at this bougie french place with this yummy drink of champagne and raspberry liquor. It was like creme de cassis and French bubbly. I had fun overall.

Highlights:
Athe the club, I got to see everybody "get stupid", "hyfey" and walk real low on the ground (sorry Jase for all the times I made fun of you).

The best part was when this guy, who was hitting on Mia, informed him that I'm wifey material "She has that calm, sweet, nurturing look about her. She's the marrying type" and that Mia was too much drama "She has that sexy, mischievous look about her. Too many issues". Damn, calm, sweet and nurturing....POLL TIME. Who believes these adjectives best describe me?

Then of course, cuz NYers get it everywhere, I had to hear some guys talk about how they visited NY and got in a fight in Bklyn, blah blah blah. I was not impressed, especially because the punk kept giggling and saying "I'm gave him the ole 1, 2".... riiiight, Bay area...stand Up?

I didn't make it to Oakland or Berkeley, so I hope to go back up and see those places. That was my weekend in the Yay Area.

Late at Night

Hello fellow bloggers!

It's not very late at night, but who cares? I couldn't think up another post name. This blog thing is a bit..weird. I think if it were a journal, it would be fine, but because it's public, it's kinda exposes you. So be nice to me.
